Hi All,

Special rider blues is one of Fahey's more conventional arrangements
and very close to Skip's version (I've been told). I transcribed
it in open Gm with a F bass but it's easy to convert to open G by
transposing the two strings. Play the Bb on the G string instead
of B string. This crushed note should be played plaintively in
whichever tuning you use. Apparently Skip played it in open G.
There is a transcription of this available and I'll post the source
when I find it. There's one part that's not quite right; if you have
any ideas, please email me.
